Principles And Applications of Dynamic Pressure Sensors

图片1

Dynamic pressure sensor is a commonly used sensor in industrial practice. It is widely used in a variety of industrial automatic control environments, involving water conservancy and hydropower, railroad transportation, intelligent buildings, production automatic control, military, petrochemical, oil well, electric power, ships, machine tools, pipelines and many other industries. The following are some common sensor principles and applications.

The principle of the dynamic pressure sensor is:The resistance strain gauge is a sensitive device that converts the strain change on the measured part into an electrical signal. It is one of the main components of piezoresistive strain sensors. Resistance strain gauges are widely used in metal resistance strain gauges and semiconductor strain gauges. There are two kinds of metal strain gauges:metal wire strain gauges and metal foil strain gauges. Typically, strain gauges are tightly bonded to a substrate that generates mechanical strain through a special adhesive. When the stress in the substrate changes, the resistance strain gauge also deforms, which changes the resistance of the strain gauge and thus the voltage applied to the resistance. Typically, this type of strain gauge has a small change in resistance when a force is applied. Typically this strain gauge forms a strain bridge, which is amplified by a subsequent instrumentation amplifier and then transmitted to the display or actuator of the processing circuit (usually an A/D converter and CPU).

Dynamic pressure sensors are mainly used for acceleration, pressure, and force measurements. Piezoelectric accelerometer is a commonly used accelerometer. It has the advantages of simple structure, small size, light weight and long service life. Piezoelectric accelerometers have been widely used for vibration and shock measurements in airplanes, automobiles, ships, bridges and buildings, especially in aerospace. Electrical sensors can also be used to measure internal combustion pressure and vacuum in engines. It can also be used in the military industry, for example to measure the change in chamber pressure at the moment of chamber firing and muzzle shock wave pressure. It can be used to measure both large and small pressures.

Dynamic pressure sensors are also widely used in biomedical measurements. For example, ventricular catheter microphones are made of piezoelectric sensors. Because measuring dynamic pressure is so common, dynamic pressure sensors are widely used.
